About

The Young Racing Driver Academy (YRDA) was launched in April 2013 by The Business of Sport, (TBOS) a global sports management consultancy - with the aim of providing young drivers with the support required to make it to the highest echelons of motorsport.

The Young Racing Driver Academy (YRDA) was launched in April 2013 by leading sports lawyer Jamie Horner (brother of Red Bull Racing Team Principal – Christian Horner) and Steve Hutchinson a leading sports coach and ex-racing driver, PGA Pro Tour Golfer and semi-professional footballer.

We focus on identifying, nurturing, mentoring and coaching young racing drivers and provide a pathway from karting and/or simulator racing into single seaters, sports cars or rallying.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for our talent to develop the skillset, knowledge and confidence to perform to the best of their ability both on and off track.
