YRDA announce partnership with Ivy Education

March 24, 2020

The Young Racing Driver Academy (YRDA) is very excited to announce a unique partnership up with leading academic tuition provider and educational advisor Ivy Education.

The YRDA team of specialists work with many racing drivers aged between 8 and 18, and, with races taking place across the UK and Europe throughout the year, they are mindful of the pressures that participation in elite level sport places on schooling at all stages of a child’s education. The YRDA, therefore, facilitates an open forum for its drivers, their parents and the driver’s schools to ensure that each child is meeting their targets in the classroom as well as on track.

As a result of the YRDA’s link with Ivy Education, expert tutors will be on hand, as required and on a bespoke basis, to fill any gaps and help the YRDA’s young talent achieve the grades needed and secure the qualifications that they deserve.

Driving Academic Progress

When looking for tuition it can be hard to know where to start. Ivy Education can provide individually tailored support to children of all ages and offer both online and face to face tuition. It can also provide both long term and intensive courses covering Maths, English, Sciences, Foreign Languages and many more to help students achieve their targeted grades.

Shifting up a gear with Ivy Education

Ivy can also provide expert advice on both school and UK and US university placement as well as interview preparation, something which could be useful at the circuit as well as away from it!

Jamie Horner: “We are delighted to embark on a unique and ground-breaking partnership with Ivy Education. We recognise that academic endeavour and achievement is the foundation stone of both a successful sporting career and optimum personal and professional development beyond sport. Like the YRDA, Ivy operate at the very highest level and we are looking forward to showcasing their services to our talent roster.”
Alastair Delafield, Ivy Education CEO: “As the uncertainty of the current situation continues, face-to-face tuition is no longer viable and many families are turning to our wonderful online services. We are looking forward to working with the YRDA and its drivers to ensure that they reach the top of the podium in the classroom as well as on track.”
