Ivan Lomliev had a good weekend at the ABkC O Plate Cadet Festival with 3rd in the IAME Cadet class. Ivan had been on form all weekend and was in contention for victory at various stages throughout the weekend.

Come the final Ivan wasn’t too far off victory either. With the two leaders both being penalised the battle for 3rd turned into the battle for the lead with Ivan just under a second behind Global Karting teammate Lucas Ellingham.

It’s a great result for Ivan and should keep his confidence up heading into next rounds of the British Championship.

Other YRDA drivers out on track included Luke Watts who finished 5th in the Honda Cadet class once penalties had been handed out. In the IAME class Luke didn’t have such good luck despite showing impressive pace throughout the day.

Josh Irfan had a terrible weekend by his standards and was caught on the wrong end of some incidents. Josh didn’t finish the IAME final but deserves credit for his drive in the Honda final which saw him climb 20 places to finish 11th place in 21 laps!

William Macintyre was also on track in the IAME Cadet class and put in a solid performance despite still behind down on experience to finish 10th place.
