The Young Racing Driver Academy are excited to announce we have further extended our pool of talents in Asia as Rahul Reddy joins the Academy ahead of the 2021 season. Rahul joins motorcycle racer, Anthony Eagle, as the second Asian based athlete to become part of the #YRDFamily. He will have access to all our coaches and facilities remotely, which we have developed further during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rahul, 16-years-old, is currently competing in both the JK Tyre 4-stroke National Karting Championship and the ENH National Karting Championship. Having started racing a year ago, Rahul is still early in his development as our driver, but with our support his progress will be speeded- up.

Rahul will be working with our staff in coaching, fitness and marketing to improve himself as a well-rounded athlete. Rahul has his sights next year on racing in Europe and we will be assisting him in achieving this goal.

Rahul is gearing up for the race season in India which will take place over the next few months. This month we have been working with him particularly hard on fitness and nutrition to make sure he is in the best shape possible to achieve his objectives. He is also about to embark on our Remote Sim Performance Programme

Chris Ray - YRDA Performance Director: “Rahul is a delight to work with. He listens to all the coaching advice, asks informed questions and then delivers on what has been asked. His progress as a driver and athlete has been fantastic in such a short time. We look forward to welcoming him to the UK in the near future.”
Rahul Reddy: Joining the YRDA was the right choice, and a great choice is what I feel personally. The method of working progress is what I loved the most getting into the program. It means a lot to me being a part of the YRDA, especially because it’s my favourite racing academy, and one of the top academies among the best that the world has to offer. Getting a chance to be a part of the world class team and people, is literally priceless for me.

You can follow all of Rahul’s progress through both our website and social media over the coming months.
