March 9, 2020
The 9th of March saw the British Formula 4 media day take place at Donington Park where the motorsport media and fans got to see their first glimpse of the 2020 challengers.
With the day spilt into two sessions alongside many media duties, both Lubin and Connor were set to impress in a busy day.
The morning session saw a very positive start for Connor ending the session P2 with a 1:08.095, just 0.2 seconds away from the top of timesheet showing the true speed and potential of the championship returnee. Connor's teammate Lubin also had a strong morning finishing P14 with a time of 1:09.654, a strong foundation for the single seater rookie to build from.
The afternoon session truly highlighted Connor’s phenomenal pace and consistency as once again he was at the top end of the timings with a 1:07.898 bringing his Arden F4 car home in a very impressive P3 in a highly competitive grid. Lubin also had a positive afternoon jumping further up the timesheet ending P11 with a 1:07.807. Once again proving he is to be a challenger for the 2020 rookie championship.
The stage is set for the two members of the #YRDArmy ahead of a promising year in the British Formula 4 championship. With Connor going for the title in just his second year of competition and Lubin ready to make a big impression on the grid and gunning for gold in the rookie championship.
