Having got into motorsport following jumping behind the wheel of a corporate kart on holiday and smashing the track's lap record on his first attempt, Ryan is clearly a natural talent and since has been pushing hard to work his way up to where he is now.
At the young age of 17, Ryan is no stranger to going fast as lives for the thrill, always wanting to go faster he has found himself rapidly climbing up the ranks and ending up behind the wheel of a race car after a very short time in karts. Working closely with the legendary Rob Wilson (Formula 1 driver coach) Ryan has come on leaps and bounds and impressed Rob so much so he was advised to get behind the wheel of a single seater as soon as possible and pursue his dreams further.
Having been on the #YRDArmy’s radar for some time, we are beyond excited to bring such a promising young talent on board and work closely with Ryan while he pursues his dreams. With the aim of competing in some British F4 rounds in the not so distant future Ryan will be looking to extract everything out of the programme and push harder than ever.
Ryans goal is to win the Triple Crown of Motorsport and while there is a long way to go he is certainly attracting the right attention to be well on his way. Alongside this testing with the Arden #RedArrows has been going very well and Ryan Margolis is a name to keep an eye on.
Here is what he had to say about being a part of the #YRDArmy:
Ryan Margolis: “Joining the YRDA has allowed me to not only improve and work on race craft in their state of the art simulator, but also meet and connect to many people within the sport. The program helps one progress in their motorsport career and can open up an array of opportunities”
